Voiceover generation
When you generate a video with AI narration, Kliptory synthesizes voiceover with a text-to-speech (TTS) provider (ElevenLabs, MiniMax, or Inworld). That speech is billed separately from normal video generation credits.
Avoid the TTS cost.
Upload your own voiceover (MP3, WAV, M4A, and similar) on
Create Video
and you are not charged for TTS. The video still uses your plan’s per-minute generation credits for the render —
only the AI voiceover line item is skipped.
How TTS credits work
- Separate from video credits. Finished runtime is billed at your format’s per-minute rate (see pricing). AI voiceover is an extra debit after synthesis.
- At provider cost. TTS is charged at cost (no markup), converted into credits using the same credits-per-USD rate as other usage. Amount depends on character count and the voice provider you selected.
- Estimated up front. Create flows that use duration or a script show a combined estimate (video + TTS). The actual TTS charge is settled after voiceover is generated, based on characters synthesized.
- Once per generation. Each video that synthesizes narration is charged once for that TTS run (idempotent if the pipeline retries).

Upload your own voiceover
Prefer recording yourself, hiring a narrator, or exporting audio from another tool? Upload that file instead of using AI TTS.
- Open Create Video and skip the duration / TTS path.
- Upload narration (MP3, WAV, M4A, WEBM, OGG, FLAC, or similar — typically up to 200 MB).
- Continue the wizard. Voice selection is skipped because you already provided audio.

Credit history
TTS debits appear in your credit history as a TTS Voiceover charge, with the provider and character count in the description. Video generation remains a separate line item when the render completes.
